Brandon Scarry

Brandon Scarry is an Animator and Digital Artist who has a vast array of skills and abilities related to the digital fields of art and design. Brandon attended the University of Central Florida where he earned his Bachelor's degree of fine art after studying in their prestigious Character Animation program. It was during this time that Brandon would go on to act as one of the Student Co-Directors of an animated short entitled Enchanted Ink, a project that featured traditional animation alongside computer generated animation.

 

Brandon Scarry has vast variety of skills relating to animation and digital media which he's used extensively in his studies. Brandon is well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite having proficient knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and Premier. During his studies of animation Brandon became extremely well versed in Autodesk Maya particularly in the fields of Animation, Modeling, and Rendering. Brandon also has skills related to compositing having utilized Foundry's Nuke software during his studies.

 

Acting as the a Co-Director of the animated short Enchanted Ink Brandon spearheaded the team into the right direction leading by example. Brandon offered his skills to multiple departments of the production. Brandon acted as a modeling lead, 3D animation lead, a Render leads, and as a Compositing Lead combining all the elements of each shot to the best degree possible. Brandon's efforts helped maintain a quality standard for one of the most experimental films to come out of the University of Central Florida's Character Animation Program.

Since College Brandon has been at work on a variety of personal animated shorts and projects. In this time honing multiple animation skills such as UV mapping, texturing, and rigging.  

 

Brandon is ready to offer his skills and endless effort elsewhere and ready to assist however necessary in animation and digital art.
